And now, she's being caught because she's guilty of credit card fraud! :
The beauty queen was convicted of five charges of misappropriation, cheating using illegally obtained credit cards, and impersonating their users' identities.
The first-time offender was sentenced in May this year to 24 months of supervised probation, said a Subordinate Courts spokesman in response to a query from my paper.
Another 60 charges were taken into consideration for the purposes of sentencing, he said.
Court documents show that Miss Low spent a total of more than $2,400 on at least four separate occasions, using at least three different credit cards in April and May last year.
She bought two gold anklets worth almost $1,000, a $698 mobile phone, and food and drinks at a swanky restaurant.
It is not known how she obtained the credit cards. my paper understands that her previous employer, a healthcare company, made a police report about her in April last year.
It suspected that Miss Low, who worked there for five months as a patient-service assistant, had used credit cards belonging to its patients. It asked her to leave the following month.
Before leaving, she was said to have returned a part - an unspecified sum - of the total amount she had spent using the cards.
When contacted, Miss Low, now a student, said that she was 'not in a position to comment'.
The organiser of the Miss Singapore World pageant, ERM World, did not respond to queries as to whether it was aware of her criminal record during the pageant.
The international Miss World pageant will be held in Johannesburg, South Africa, in December.
It is unclear whether Miss Low will be allowed to leave the country to take part in it.

"Friend of mine said that the ad is a reflection of the 3 classes in Singapore society:
1. The monkey represents the low-income, which has no choice but to accept peanuts for wages.
2. The elephant represents the middle-income, which has limited contact with the lower class but cannot connect with their struggle to make ends meet, hence the suggestion that they should think positively.
3. The giraffe represents the upper-class, which is completely oblivious to the struggles of the middle and lower classes. Once in a while, they stick their heads down from the clouds and have a look around, but are not bothered by the economic crisis in any way.
The commercial deserves an award for its deep insights into Singapore society."

She was the one who coordinated the meetings.
She had to take our feelings into consideration.
She was scolded by us.
Although she had a hard time, she pushed on.
And there we were, successful:)

We did a great job for our performances today man! We sang very well until our teachers were v touched! (: Not forgetting the dance at the end too, we danced very well! :DOur efforts had paid off for these teachers' day performances! :D

OMG 4E7 OUR PERFORMANCE WAS A SUCCESS!finally!
after spending all the weekends' afternoons together.
after spamming all the sms among each other.
WOOHOO!
and i'm so glad that the teachers really enjoyed our performance. ((:
there are a few people that i think the class should really thank for this performance to be a success.
first up is TAY QIAN WEN!
our very beeeeeeeeeeeeloved choreographer!
she has very beautifully pieced together simple moves such that our dance looks nice, complicated and elegant!
it has been really hard on her all this while.
and she has really put in a lot of effort in this whole thing.
she even specially went to the internet to research on different moves, learn them and then teach them to the whole class.
especially for the break dancing part.
even the males found it tough.
full 2 minutes choreographed by her,
CLAPS CLAPS CLAPS EVERYONE!!!
next up is CHAN WENG WAN!
most of you might not know,
but CHAN WENG WAN was actually the one that cut, edited and extended our dance song.
he even edited IMMASHINE 3 different times.
and the full song twice and added in the YOU THINK THAT WAS COOL, ACTIVATE!
on saturday morning, i went to accompany wengwan to edit the song in the school's com lab.
OMG. it was a really very difficult process.
requires very accurate timing and precision, and LOADS of patience!
the whole process is so complicated!
i only know how to use Windows Movie Maker.

third up is SUFYAN!!!!!!!
the lyricist for our version of YOUR CALL!
we kept changing songs to sing and sufyan had to keep editing different songs.
XIN KU NI LE!
i remember during on of the weekend rehearsal, i realised sufyan haven't edited the lyrics.
so i banned sufyan from dancing.
and he reluctantly went to one corner to change the lyrics.
AND OMG HE DID IT!
and it was really good.

fourthly is CHAN TECK SOON!
he really helped to organise the males during dance rehearsals.
sometimes he might be a bit bossy and he likes giving the very f-up face.
but he was very responsible and pushed all of us to a greater height.
during rehearsals when the males were playing and laughing around, he stood forward to lead!
WOOHOO!
fifthly is JUDITH WONG!
during the start of our rehearsals period, we couldn't find a song to dance to and TEENAGE LIFE was sucky.
haz.
then, judith always came up to me and told me loads of different different song to dance to!
during recess she would suddenly come up to me and ask "JORENE HAVE YOU HEARD THIS blabla SONG BEFORE? YOU LISTEN AND HEAR WHETHER CAN FIT INTO THE DANCE ANOT."
i think i heard almost 5 different songs before i settled on MAMA DO!
when i heard MAMA DO it was like "LOVE AT FIRST HEARING"!
i'm serious.
once the song started playing, i instantly knew that i wanted it.
HAHAHAHA!
she also help me took a video of herself talking about mr wee!
i was rushing out the video one fine night, and i realised i didn't have an interview about mr wee.
so i smsed judith whether she can help me take a video of herself talking about mr wee, AND SHE AGREED!
i was so touched! omgomgomgomg.

sixth is KARTHIKAN!
he might seem very laid back and nonchalant just playing the guitar.
but he was actually the one i went to to seek advice about anything and everything related to the singing segment about the item.
how to arrange the class, where to cut the song blabla.
however, everytime whenever i ask him to lead the class, the would always always say NONO I'M VERY IRRESPONSIBLE.
HAIZ!
he was also the one that chose the song YOUR CALL, he taught me how to download 'songs' from youtube and even helped me search for the piano tutorial of YOUR CALL!
he was really passionate about YOUR CALL.
seventh up is JACKY LU!
we invaded his house for the singing rehearsal.
HAHA!
the night before the rehearsal i just suddenly called him, "JACKY! TOMORROW CAN WE GO TO YOUR HOUSE TO PRACTICE THE SINGING?" and he agreed! YAYYE!
and he gave me a lot of cruel reality about the different situations. and i was very happy that someone ACTUALLY did that cause honesty is always the best policy.
there were a lot of things that i just saw on the surface, but he managed to read between the lines and understood the meaning beneath.
he was like THE ADVISOR.
and thanks for being the brave soul who held the mike yo!
(he was veryvery reluctant at first.)

eighth OF COURSE IS EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU!
without all of you, we won't be able to sing the song and do the dance!
even though our HAPPY TEACHERS' DAY and WE WILL EXCEL video look damn noob,
we still did our song and dance with passion!
i know of many people that practiced the song and the steps for the dance at home.
i was so touched when i knew of this!
could feel the tears well up in my eyes.

This is a video of our post concert performance. If anyone has a better quality version, please post it here. Wow! I am impressed by the breakdancing. Good job Guys. I like what Mr Wee said, "Eh. Throw Money. Credit card also accept." Haha. I might want to make a compilation video of the song during the concert, the video presentation and the dance.
